Benefits Advisor

Summary:

Logan Lavelle Hunt is currently seeking goal oriented individuals to be successful in the Life and Health insurance industry. The Benefits Advisor helps clients make informed decisions about their insurance coverage, process claims and explain the different types of coverage in depth.

Pay/Benefits:
  • Base rate to be determined upon experience

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Seek out new clients, develop leads, and generate a book of business
  • Market appropriate products and services
  • Recognize, develop and calculate thoughtful comprehensive plans based on clients’ needs and objectives
  • Work with Service Advisors to provide full service to all clients by responding to client inquiries and questions
  • Track and identify areas of improvement to reach company goals outlined by the Sales Manager
  • Research the condition of the group to be insured
  • Obtain data about financial resources and needs to develop an appropriate strategy
  • Identify and promote cross selling opportunities informing clients of the full suite of services offered by Logan Lavelle Hunt

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline preferred
  • 2+ years’ work experience in professional or sales occupation
  • Currently possess or have the ability to acquire a Life, Accident and Health license
  • Insurance designations preferred
